Historic Military Steele Bridge - (NSW)

4 /5 Will Lee: I did Hornsby to fish ponds and went left through the back of the rifle range via tunks camping site taking a right to get here (and had to backtrack up the steep hill to continue gnw). There are no seating areas. The bridge is ok and sees the water going over some rocks in the distance.

5 /5 Sean Nairn: This bridge was constructed just after WW2 to allow fire trucks to access the bush between Hornsby and Dural. Apparently there are only four examples of this type of bridge left in service in Australia, so I guess that makes it special. Situated in a patch of rainforest it is quiet and secluded with only occasional hikers on the track.
