Figure Eight Pools - NSW

Nethmi Amarasekera Great hike and awesome swimming at the pools themselves! Definitely need proper footwear as you have to go across large rocks and boulders to get to the figure 8 pools! Do not attempt at high tide. Hike back up is moderate on a hot day, so make sure you have make sure you have lots of water and sunscreen! Path on the way down consists of well managed track, then walk all the way across the beach, then over rocks for 20 or so minutes.

Curra Moors loop track - NSW

Gary B Great place for a walk to the coast or beach from the main road. Unfortunately Garie beach road is closed at the moment. Beware that this is supposed to be a level 4 track. It very weathered and rough with a little of up and down

Uloola walking track - NSW

Usha Thapa Uloola Falls Track is 2.5 hrs from the Hacking River. Anyone who wants to enjoy the picnic at Audrey Village ground and then hit off the track, it is an ideal destination. The falls tracks are mostly all natural with the rocks but in some of the areas rocks are carved to ensure it is safe for hikers. The trees don’t provide much shade so, it’s good to have cap and lots of sunscreen. There is no water refilling throughout the trail so, ensure you carry enough water supply. Uloola fall track in itself is satisfying but by the time you reach the actual falls, it’s bit disappointing as there is not much in actual destination. One can enjoy the pink mini flowers and native flowers along the trail and you can even see city in the background from one of the highest point.

Wattamolla Beach - NSW

Anh Phan The scenery here is absolutely stunning. On one side, theres a serene freshwater stream with a gentle, picturesque waterfall. On the other, youll find the sea, lined with striking moss-covered rock formations. Its the perfect spot to enjoy a beachside BBQ. I highly recommend having a picnic here to fully appreciate the beauty of nature!

PRASAD SATAVSE The trial walk is good and very scenic. Wedding cake has been fenced and is not accessible or properly visible but the views along the way are worth the walk and small hike. People along the walk were also smiling and greeting making the walk more enjoyable.

Vanessa Kerton Spectacular. Spectacular. Spectacular. Do not miss. Be very careful of kangaroos. We got food from the Silverton hotel took chairs and a table and arrived 30 mins prior to sunset. Great access for all. Be mindful of the road with children about. Fabulous disability access, easy parking. Unbelievably beautiful.

Fort Bourke Hill Lookout, Peak Gold Mines - NSW

Tooze Paul (No Journey Too Small) A worthwhile stop for a few minutes of wonder in just what humans can do! This is one deep hole that leads to kilometres of tunnels. In fact you can see the original mine entrances going up the fault line on the right hand side of the mine. Very good info boards at the lookout. I wouldn’t tow a caravan up there but the road is bitumen.

Hartley Historic Site - NSW

Patrick Moylan OPEN during the Christmas Holidays!! Such a beautiful and historic town, with little nooks to discover around every turn. The Gold Rush Antique store is likely the nicest and most authentic antique store in the blue mountains, and with it’s beautiful host: is an amazing experience itself. The short bush walk down the River Lett and the other near the Tor Rock is phenomenal. The aboriginal history transforms your perspective from the town of the 1800s to the native landscape Millenia past. I would highly recommend taking the time to visit this site, there’s free Quoits to play too!
