5 /5 catherine j: Last year, I got a digital perm with Shoko, and this year, I recently got a haircut cut with Moko. Both were outstanding with my hair, they took care of me and made sure they consulted me first on my hair and how they would cut/style, then they would let me know through out the process what they would be doing to my hair. I found this very conforting and the results were amazing!

5 /5 Kim: Highly recommend ! I got bad haircut with a hairdresser in Chatswood And was looking for hairdressers to fix the issue! A hairdresser at kayo gave me a nice haircut with blow dry! I’m so happy with the result :)

3 /5 Sharon Stone: *EDITED ON 02.11.2023* [[EDIT: Management contacted me after posting this review via phone and email. We made a new appointment to straighten this unevenness out. Again: staff is all very friendly and forthcoming, no negative comments on that! The haircut itself was straighter than it was before, yet the ends were still uneven. (The middle part was cut higher than the side/ends) See added photo with the blue Tshirt as reference. Everyone is very kind at Kayo, the fact that management took the effort to contact me shows true ownership. I am sad to say though that I do Not recommend this shop for anyone that has European hair. +1 star for effort in contacting me and trying to fix it]] I chose Kayo for my hair appointment due to the good reviews, unfortunately my experience is a little different. I came in on friday to see if they had availability and on the spot then and there made an appointment for Monday afternoon. The costumer service regarding the making of the appointment and trying to accommodate me was great. Sadly the lady that cut my hair, has cut it unevenly. (See photos) I told her prior to the appointment how I wanted it and it was pretty straightforward. One straight line on the bottom and then the bangs on an angle down. No layers, no colouring, no hair dyes, no nothing else. My hair was freshly washed before the appointment and I came with my hair up and knot-free for the appointment. During the cutting she already had to redo the right side due to it being uneven, so I hoped that after she "touched it up" it would have been done right. I am a little disappointed now since I am walking around with a straight, but uneven line at the back. It just looks funny and I am not happy with how this turned out.

3 /5 Jennifer C: Keratin treatment was not effective and my hair remained frizzy. I have had keratin treatment elsewhere in the past so have an idea of what to expect. Even after the first month there was no sign that I had even done the treatment apart from a lingering smell. Additionally the pricing had changed when I arrived. I called up when booking to confirm the pricing and discount for a weekday booking in December however was told the discount didn’t apply when I arrived on the day. This was after I had already taken a day off from work to come to my appointment. They obliged by giving me a small but not a full discount. On the positive side, my hair stylist was lovely and the hair wash and massage was very relaxing. Wouldn’t be back for a keratin treatment though.
