1 /5 Phillip M: I’ve honestly had enough of this company’s relentless marketing tactics. I get that we live in an era of targeted advertising, but Oz Hair & Beauty takes it to an obnoxious extreme. At first, I tried simply scrolling past their ads, but the more I ignored them, the more frequently they appeared. Then I attempted to hide the ads from my feed, only for new ones to pop up even more aggressively.
When I went as far as blocking the page, I thought I’d finally be free, but nope, they found me on other social media channels. It’s absurd. I don’t care about your Coachella campaigns and trying to reach 100K followers by the end of December, your 70% off sales, or the other 140+ active ads you’re running. This level of overexposure has made me adamantly not want to buy from you.
Instead of throwing money at incessant ad placements and cringeworthy “content creators,” maybe invest in smarter, more respectful marketing strategies. You’re alienating potential customers with this approach. And for the record, if and when I need products you sell, I’ll be sure to take my business elsewhere.
Enough is enough.
