5 /5 John (The Purpose Coach): Palm Beach Astro Observatory was a bit of a drive from Parramatta, but it was absolutely worth the trip! My wife and I visited to witness the Planet Parade, and while the clouds did limit our view of the stars, we were still treated to an unforgettable experience. The real highlight of the evening was the breathtaking pink skyline just before nightfall—it was one of those moments that make you pause and truly appreciate nature’s beauty.
The observatory itself is in a fantastic location, offering a peaceful and scenic setting that makes the journey worthwhile. There was plenty of parking, which made the visit stress-free, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for stargazing. Even though the sky wasn’t as clear as we had hoped, just being there, surrounded by the vast open sky and the gentle sea breeze, was an experience in itself.
If youre even remotely interested in astronomy or just looking for a unique, peaceful night out, I highly recommend making the trip. Whether it’s for a special celestial event or just to soak in the stunning views, Palm Beach Astro Observatory is definitely a place worth visiting!
