What Clients Are Saying Patonga to Pearl Beach walking track (GG)
5 /5 Anush Paul: Great North Walk was Absolutely Amazing
5 /5 Dean Perry: For me this was a great walk but with three children I would suggest waiting until they are ten plus (especially in the rain)
5 /5 ante lero: Enjoyable trail with great views
5 /5 Samantha Assaf: A beautiful track but beware (!!!!) this track is extremely steep. It is classified as a grade 5 track so it requires some level of fitness and is not for amateurs. The views along the way are so lovely and there are plenty of spots to stop and take uninterrupted pictures of the view. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a difficult walk in the central coast.
Chathu Kularathna What a beautiful formation. Makes you appreciate the slow work of Mother Nature.
From the Information board -
Tessellated pavements are formed in sandstone over millions of years.
Sandstone, siltstone and claystone are buried deep (under pressure) within the earths crust. Through weathering and erosion, these rock layers are removed and the pressure on the rocks is released. This causes the sandstone to expand, resulting in cracking of the surface.
U L A very good hike, where you can find many rare insects and small flowers. It takes at least half an hour to reach the waterfall. You need to pay attention to safety on the way, it is challenging! But seeing the beautiful waterfall will be worth it in a moment, it is recommended to bring a bottle of water to replenish water.
Wahyu Setyaning I love visiting park hereee, so beautiful, best for kids, couple, parents and many more, free barbeque tools so you can bring your own meats, sauce, ingredients to have bbq there. There is also playground for kids.
Patrick G What a beautiful park!! Theres lots of walks, wide paths lovely grassed areas for picnics and ball games, a delightful walk down the river bank, very sad that its totally polluted!! And visit at high tide!! Very close to the train station.
Lots of shady areas under the pine & gum trees, a lovely cricket ground complete with picket fence, pavilion and grandstand and just over the road are some expansive ovals where they play touch footy!! An oasis in a crazy city full of unnecessary overbuilding of massive blocks of flats!@
Mary Radac One of my favourite places for a car meet. The mid week muscle car club also organises for the Amore pizza truck to be there so all drivers enjoy eating their great pizza whilst admiring all the various cars. Neat parking area & huge parkland for various activities.
