2 /5 Alina Melinte: I had been going to this nail salon for about 8 months, hoping to find consistency and a reliable experience. Unfortunately, it always felt like playing the lottery. Some days, the manicure would turn out well, and other days it was clearly rushed and uneven. The quality of service heavily depended on the mood of the technician, which is not what you want when youre paying for professional care.
Over time, I began to notice some troubling hygiene practices. Tools were often pulled from drawers or holders without proper sanitization in between clients. On multiple visits, I saw technicians reuse items that should have been cleaned or disposed of.
The final straw came when I developed a nail fungus, something Ive never experienced before. I returned to let them know, and instead of addressing the issue with care, the technician removed part of the infected nail with a utensil, then placed it right back into the holder without any sanitizing. Shockingly, they even attempted to apply gel polish over the damaged nail, which could have worsened the infection.
At that point, I realized I couldn’t justify returning. A nail salon should prioritize hygiene, professionalism, and customer safety above all else. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements better training and sanitation protocols. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to others.
