Woronora River Bridge Walk - (NSW)

5 /5 annie z: Beautiful board walk under the bridge. Its difficult to find the first time as theres no signage but easy once you know. Best place to park is towards the end of Oakwood Street. The walk starts at the end of the street were the road narrows into bike/pedestrian only. The path goes along the main road for about 10 minutes, then it will lead you to the boardwalk under the bridge. You can also park on Prince Edward Park Rd but this way requires going up a lot of stairs. The stairs start at the end of Prince Edward Park Rd thats towards Menai Rd. The stairs will lead you up to the main road and then toward the boardwalk.

4 /5 Lifan Lou: The walking deck hanging under the bridge is well made and security camera runs none stop, also has couple of emergency call points. The view is quite nice and good spot for photos. Park your car on prince edward park road and walk back the road you’ll see the walking track, a few flight of stairs take you to east side of the bridge and start your walk.

4 /5 Michael: Lovely walk with a view! Not rating 5 stars as parking was near impossible to find. You have to park quite a ways a way and walk (no designated parking at all). The walk itself is definitely easy and you get to take in the shires beauty while doing so. It feels like you are safe with CCTV here and there, would love to give it a go later on at night.

4 /5 Weizhen Zhou: Strangely there’re no signposts for this walk whatsoever from either side of the bridge. The best place to park is on Oakwood St and the eastern start of the walk is just at the end of the street. Following the footpath and you will end up under the Woronora river bridge and at the start of the boardwalk. Once you crossed the bridge to the western side, you can walk to woronora village along Menai road. However, there’s no footpath along the road so it seems rather risky. If you park at Woronora village, you can follow Menai road along either direction to get onto the bridge walk. As mentioned before, this requires walking on the shoulders of Menai road so I won’t recommend taking this option. The walk itself is short but beautiful with excellent view of the river. It’s so peaceful that you forget you are under a busy bridge!

5 /5 A Hasnat: Great walk. Best to park at Oakwood street and walk from there. It’s almost a flat walk. Another option to park at Prince Edward park rd but plenty of stairs to climb.
