1 /5 Maddie Ayre: Recently had a manicure and pedicure (Saturday 21-Oct). I used to go to this salon quite frequently when I lived in the area but the service is very hit or miss depending on who you get. The pedicure was okay and the colour was good. For my fingernails I got a new type of gel nail that is meant to be better for your nail, the lady who did my nails kept ignoring my request for shorter nails claiming that it would be shorter when she shaped them. They were still too long for my liking but you know a little bit longer isn’t too much of an issue. Not to mention she quite abruptly told me to stop moving and just didn’t seem to really care. What I had the most issue with is that my thumb on my right hand she seemed to struggling with and ripped part of the paint off and instead of tailing it off the whole thumb she just painted over it. It is now Monday (23-Oct) and my thumb has cracked. Honestly with the service from what I received on Saturday I won’t be returning and l will go back to my trusted nail salon. It is really a shame as the lady who did my friend’s nails right next to me was so warm and accommodating. An update this new product that they recommend obviously isn’t what it’s meant to be as I’ve had another nail snap in half and another with a slight crack. Another update Tuesday 24-October another nail had just snapped in half. I have never had nails of such bad quality before. Just a note as well I work an office job not manual labour where it would make sense that the nails would break.

5 /5 Bec Gordon: YF Beauty always provides great customer service. I’ve gotten the builder gel from Johnny several times now and he always does a fabulous job with great attention to detail. They always last for ages too (4 weeks) with no lifting or damage. Would definitely recommend getting your nails done from Johnny.
