1 /5 hazel: Cindy, the nail technician, was incredibly rude. When I arrived and simply stated my name, she laughed for no reason. Then, in the middle of the nail care process, she disappeared without saying anything and returned later as if nothing had happened.
The most shocking part was the hygiene—or lack thereof. The tools were covered in nail dust, clearly not cleaned after previous use. It was absolutely disgusting.
My natural nails were quite long, and I specifically asked her to trim just a little. She said okay but then proceeded to cut off way too much. She was so rough while trimming that pieces of my nails flew around my eyes. The drilling process was also aggressive and painful, making my hands feel hot and uncomfortable.
I showed her a reference photo and requested a ballerina shape, asking for a slimmer look. Instead, she completely ruined my nails by cutting them way too short. I’ve never seen a nail salon do such a terrible job—it was honestly shocking and unforgettable.
When I tried to communicate my concerns, she got irritated and snapped at me, saying, “I don’t understand what you’re saying at all.” I have never encountered such a rude nail technician in my life. Then, out of nowhere, Cindy went to the outside, and another nail technician took over. While she was much friendlier, the final result was still disappointing. The gradient effect was unnatural, the nail care was incomplete, and they didn’t clean up the surrounding cuticles.
I initially inquired on Instagram about the price of the design I wanted, and they told me it was $80. However, when I arrived, they claimed they didn’t have the exact design, so they created something similar—and then charged me $140.
Even after finishing my nails, they barely cleaned up. While washing my hands, I didn’t realize another customer was waiting behind me. Instead of politely letting me know, a nail technician from across the salon rudely said, “Excuse me?” in an unpleasant tone. The whole experience made me feel like they were treating me as if I were being difficult when I was just asking for the service I had paid for.
I only went to this salon because my usual nail technician was on holiday and desperately needed my nails done. But I will never return, and I strongly recommend others avoid this place as well. The overall cleanliness was terrible, the nail skills were subpar, and the customer service was unacceptable.
I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for years, and this level of service is simply unbelievable. I don’t usually write reviews, but I really hope the owner sees this and seriously considers improving their salon’s hygiene, skills, and customer service.
