5 /5 Sameer Dakhil: Its a good place for relaxing and fishing, one thing that is very disturbing is the speed jet sky speed, I wish someone did something about it.
Dr Rahau Shirazi Parking $12 - toilet cafe and seats plus a place to open a tent on the other side of the bridge, friendly information staff helpful with my questions.
jena rogers If you are coming to Lightning Ridge take the time to go to the Bore Baths.
The temperature has been between 35⁰ and 40⁰ in the pools and is truly amazing. Works amazing after a big day or an amazing start to your day too
Mr. M These are the second last rapids before the Wonorora River flows into the Engadine Lagoon. The whole area is very shallow, so you might have to carry-around. Drop height is about .5 m, there is a safe way to carry your boat around on the eastern side of the rapids. Dropping the boat downstream is easy, pleanty of room there.
annie z Beautiful board walk under the bridge. Its difficult to find the first time as theres no signage but easy once you know. Best place to park is towards the end of Oakwood Street. The walk starts at the end of the street were the road narrows into bike/pedestrian only. The path goes along the main road for about 10 minutes, then it will lead you to the boardwalk under the bridge.
You can also park on Prince Edward Park Rd but this way requires going up a lot of stairs. The stairs start at the end of Prince Edward Park Rd thats towards Menai Rd. The stairs will lead you up to the main road and then toward the boardwalk.
Natcha Siripin Very stunning view ! This is more for people who love trekking and hiking as the route can be very long. Please do not give up when you get to the wedding cake view point because if you walk a bit further you will see the hidden beach (I dont remember the name but it is very pretty)
Alice Moon-Star Very beautiful area to walk. Tranquil beaches, small forest, good wharf with ferry to Cronulla and a cute town centre with cafes and a small supermarket. When it’s busy car parks can be hard to find. Also there are toilets here.
