Terrigal Boardwalk - NSW

Sess L Finally we are here to walk along the new boardwalk, well not very new anymore. The bright sunlight shined fiercely on our faces as there are literally no shades around. The walk was easy too.

Wattamolla Falls - NSW

Ravi Lal The google map will take you through to the car park. There is enough parking for like 50 plus cars. We had no problem finding a car. You will go through a check point where you will pay to visit the national park. This fee is for a whole day so make use of it. There are toilet facilities available. Once you reach the car park just go to the left when going towards the toilets. I think during rainy season, there may be more water. I saw people playing with the sand and fishing at the opposite end of the falls. You can spend about good 30 minutes here. We later took a hike towards the eagle rocks and another waterfall along the coast. We enjoyed this place. There is no toilets along the bay except beside the car park.

Wellington Caves - NSW

Donna Day Wellington Caves was an absolute surprise and so glad we went. The day was a bit dreary but the caves were just brilliant. Our guide Paul was fabulous and we also loved the cafe and exhibition. The caravan park was one of the best we have stayed in with very clean facilities and a large site next to the golf course. The free Japanese garden across the road were superb and the dreary day did not make it any less enjoyable - 100% recommend

Narrabri Old Gaol & Museum - NSW

Steven Stegs For a local museum on a shoe string budget, it has a feel of the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. Staff are way friendlier here no doubt. What a treat. If you’re over 40 years of age, you’ll feel like you’re a piece of history. Nice work Narrabri Old Gaol and Museum. Cash only for entry

Knapsack Viaduct - NSW

Nace Y Lovely place for a walk with doggo. I just wished people would pick up after their dogs have done their business. Or we can blame the council for not placing bins at either end? Imagine carrying poopy with you in the car ride home haha. Walk isnt that difficult, and the stairs arent that bad if you take it easy.

Museum of Human Disease - NSW

Heather Barrett Came from Perth with this as my #1 must-do and it far surpassed my expectations. I was blown away with the size, depth, and quality of the specimens in the collection. I appreciated the handbook with the collection highlights and enjoyed the options of scanning QR codes for further case details. The exhibits were clearly well maintained and reflected the high level of care invested in running the museum. Tickets (as non students) were very reasonable at $10. I have sung your praises to my colleagues and will certainly be returning on my next visit to Sydney.

Koala Conservation Hospital Port Macquarie - NSW

P.L.I. Wimalaratne I recommend going early when the koalas are still active and having their mealtime. It was heartwarming to see how the unwell or injured koalas were cared for. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the volunteers were doing an amazing job. During our visit, there were four joeys, and it was wonderful to see them all. Evans, an injured koala on a special diet, was a delight to watch as he enjoyed his meal. The educational section was also excellent, providing interesting koala facts and valuable knowledge.
