1 /5 Amber Albeck: I went in and asked for my acrylics soaked off, and the lady told me to sit down. She starts prying off my nails with another nail tip which was very painful considering that I had only had them on for about 2 weeks, and they had not started to lift. I told her this, and asked her to soak them off instead. She tells me that she has to try this first because it’s quicker. Instead of soaking the nails off once the tip doesn’t work, she used cuticle clippers to hack at the edges of my nails (cutting my cuticles too deep, and clipping into my nail bed), to get them to lift. She eventually pried all of the nails off except for one, leaving them bleeding and weak. With the stubborn nail, she literally just buffed down the shellac on my nails, leaving a layer of acrylic on there. When I went back and complained, she said “only one of them is bleeding”, which wasn’t true. She also told me it was my fault, because I had cut my nails too short, even though I had acrylics on prior, and she cut my nails down to the nail bed (as shown in the picture) I got my money back, but my nails are wrecked and I won’t be returning.
