Hogben Park - NSW

Mark Nguyen We went there again, which it wasnt our first time (that photo was almost a year), and it was very nice to see jacarandas, and the weather looks super nice today that we actually played badminton in a basketball court for almost an hour. The toliets were open and available. There was also a ping pong or table tennis set at the corner of the basketball court, and there was a weird but interesting silver sphere when you came in and saw that in front of you. So anyway, we had a nice time there again to see them blooming.

Cape Baily Lighthouse - NSW

rainer alam The lighthouse itself is pretty ordinary. It stands on a small hill. you can do tracking, it will take half an hour to complete a round trip. The view was beautiful. I went there on the time of sunset. It was an easy relaxed walk to the top. You can park your car and then walk towards the lighthouse.

Allen Strom lookout - NSW

Suman Roy It’s a very nice scenic point with very short trail of around 900 mt. It’s hard to spot the parking because as per the g-map, you can take your vehicle up-to the location, which isn’t. Other than that, the view is amazing.

The Shark, Ray & All Creatures Rescue - NSW

Samantha Kay Living in Port Stephens, we’ve been exploring local attractions, and this one was an absolute gem! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. We loved being able to chat with the handlers and learn about all the fascinating creatures. The highlight for us was hanging out with the rays, sharks, and eels—my 9-year-old daughter was thrilled! The creatures were so friendly, and it was such a hands-on, engaging experience. We went all out and got the mega ticket, which included a meet-and-greet with the birds. It was so much fun having them perch on us and fly around! The pass also included a free meal, and the dining area was incredible—with creatures swimming above and tanks all around. Watching the feeding sessions was a real treat, and being able to purchase food to feed the animals ourselves was such a unique touch. While the food options were limited, I was happy to find something that suited my dietary needs, which is always appreciated. The only downside was that the butterfly exhibit wasn’t open, but nature happens, and it’s something to look forward to on our next visit. We spent about 3 hours here as a family of three and absolutely loved every moment. Highly recommend—5 stars!
