5 /5 Andrew Walker: My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on our mid morning walk on Monday. The cafe was not busy and we chose a table along the wall with nice cushions and a rug on the chair. Staff were warm and friendly. Just choose a table, then read the menu, go to the counter to order, and pay for your meal. Hot meals arrived quickly and efficiently. My wife ordered Eggs on Toast ($18) consisting of two soft poached eggs and a side of mushrooms, served with 3 slices of toasted sourdough bread with a dish of soft butter. She loved the meal of soft runny eggs and the good amount of toast with the tasty mushrooms. I also ordered Eggs on Toast ($24) consisting creamy, scrambled eggs, a good sized, side of steamed chicken and large mushrooms served with 3 slices of sourdough toast, with a small dish of butter. My breakfast was perfect, the stars were the good sized serve of creamy scrambled eggs and the steamed chicken. I really loved my meal, as well! We washed down our meal with the excellent, 9 Spice sticky chai teas with soy milk ($6.70 each). The ambiance in this cafe is eclectic and restful. The menu differs from the website, so I took a photo of the breakfast page of the menu to show what is available now. Toilets are located near the front of the cafe. We were a little disappointed that the current menu has left off the Shakshuka and the Green Goddess Toast, they sounded great. Nevertheless, a breakfast here is highly recommended.
