LE ROOFTOP - NSW

Nicky N My husband and I came here for a date night and were genuinely impressed by both the quality of the food and the incredible staff. We ordered the kingfish carpaccio, prawn toast, and the wagyu steak with rice — every plate was completely cleared. We also tried the pumpkin cheesecake. The first bite was a surprise, but with each bite it just kept getting better, until we were literally fighting over the last piece! Sitting inside and admiring the beautiful sandstone walls made the experience even more special. Would 110% recommend this place.

Antica Dining - NSW

Karolina Casa Rosa Pinoso We had a fabulous dinner at Antica Dining, recommended to us by David whom we met on the streets of Sydney — and what a recommendation it turned out to be. Everything felt top shelf, from the quality of the ingredients to the way the dishes were prepared and presented. The food was delicious, with beautifully balanced combinations of flavours that felt thoughtful and refined without being heavy. Each course impressed us more than the last. The wine selection was excellent and paired perfectly with the food, making the whole evening feel special and well curated. A memorable dinner we’re very glad we didn’t miss. Definitely a place worth seeking out.

Blue 36 Cafe - NSW

Andrew Walker My wife and I visited for breakfast on Friday morning. Walked straight in for a table and were provided with menus immediately. Very efficient service with warm and friendly staff. This cafe is located inside Greenwood Plaza, opposite the North Sydney Railway Station in Blue Street. Lots of interesting food on the menu. My wife ordered the Quinoa Avocado ($19), consisting 2 Poached eggs, smashed avocado, Quinoa Mix (lentils, Spanish onion, tomatoes, parsley, currants), balsamic glaze on Quinoa-soy-linseed sourdough toast. She loved her meal. I had the Chorizo Scramble ($22), consisting of 4 unique shaped pieces of tasty but mild chorizo, creamy scrambled eggs, 4 sautéed mushrooms, sautéed spinach and 2 slices of white sourdough toast. I really enjoyed my meal as well. We washed our meals down with 2 Brew Chai Teas ($6.50 ea.) which we really enjoyed. Card surcharge of 1.5% added on payment with a credit card. Very flavoursome meals, good ambiance and efficient service. A breakfast here is highly recommended.

BarLume - NSW

Lost Little Nomad As a lobby café, I expected maybe a more austere setting. I was pleasantly surprised that the atmosphere was cozy, warm, tastefully (and more importantly comfortably) furnished & decorated. The feeling is almost golden age, with a touch of noir. Music playing in the background is not overwhelming or disruptive to conversation. Staff are polite and attentive. Seating for a midmorning breakfast was readily available and the flow of customers was steady. I expect things will become busier as people start to flow back more into the CBDs after the difficulties of the last year. Coffee is by the Grounds, and the barista pulls it together nicely. Food portions and servings are generous, and good value for the price tag; and there are plenty of health-conscious options. Would recommend this as a great place to go for informal meetings and social outings.

Bay Ten Espresso - NSW

Andrew Walker My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on our mid morning walk on Monday. The cafe was not busy and we chose a table along the wall with nice cushions and a rug on the chair. Staff were warm and friendly. Just choose a table, then read the menu, go to the counter to order, and pay for your meal. Hot meals arrived quickly and efficiently. My wife ordered Eggs on Toast ($18) consisting of two soft poached eggs and a side of mushrooms, served with 3 slices of toasted sourdough bread with a dish of soft butter. She loved the meal of soft runny eggs and the good amount of toast with the tasty mushrooms. I also ordered Eggs on Toast ($24) consisting creamy, scrambled eggs, a good sized, side of steamed chicken and large mushrooms served with 3 slices of sourdough toast, with a small dish of butter. My breakfast was perfect, the stars were the good sized serve of creamy scrambled eggs and the steamed chicken. I really loved my meal, as well! We washed down our meal with the excellent, 9 Spice sticky chai teas with soy milk ($6.70 each). The ambiance in this cafe is eclectic and restful. The menu differs from the website, so I took a photo of the breakfast page of the menu to show what is available now. Toilets are located near the front of the cafe. We were a little disappointed that the current menu has left off the Shakshuka and the Green Goddess Toast, they sounded great. Nevertheless, a breakfast here is highly recommended.
