The Place Poke&Pasta - NSW

Isaac I had a great experience my first time eating the trio (salmon, tuna and octopus) here, I came back the very next day with my wife! The ingredients are fresh and you can customise the protein, sauce, base and extras. I like that they also serve sauce on the side so you can add to your taste. The only con is that I really want to try the pasta they make too but I can never make it past ordering the trio poke first.

Miryang Gukbap - NSW

Jereme Lee Great Korean soups and pancakes. We got the large pork gukbap ($29). The soup was fantastic as it had a nice clean, creamy and savoury flavour to it. The pork slices and organs were also were all quite tender and flavourful. The condiments provided also helped to elevate the soup. 5/5. We also got the prawn perilla leaves pancake ($25). This dish was also decent. The perilla leaves had a nice herbal aroma to it, the prawns were springy, and the batter was very crispy. 4.5-5/5. The banchan were also acceptable. Overall great Korean food here. Overall ranking: 4.5-5/5.

Fish Barrel Eastwood - NSW

Joanna Fu We are not big fans of fish in soup so we ordered the normal dishes. Lots of selections and very authentic. We ordered 3 dishes with 3 rice, and the total bill was very reasonable (under $60). Will definitely visit again to try other dishes.

The One BBQ Eastwood - NSW

Bianca CAI We had a great time here! This spot is perfect for a casual night out with friends or family. The skewers were delicious—well-marinated, fresh, and cooked just right. You can choose to BBQ them yourself at the table, which adds to the fun, or let the kitchen handle it if you just want to relax and eat. The vibe is lively, especially with the live music—we got to enjoy music while grilling, which made the whole experience super fun and unique.

Serena L Perfect choice for the winter. Very fresh food with reasonable price. Came on a Thursday night, busy but staff are very friendly and helpful. The chef came to us to make sure our noodle soup was cooked as we requested. All tables are sofa seats, suitable for families with kids. Will definitely come back.

金小烤泥炉烤饼 Jin’s Grilled Meat Pie - NSW

Cooper We came here because our local friends highly recommended these meat pies, and I am so glad we listened. We decided to order the signature grilled pork meat pie, and the taste was unexpectedly good. The flavor isnt your traditional savory or soy-sauce heavy style. Instead, it has a wonderful sweet and salty balance that actually reminded me a lot of Shanghai-style pan-fried buns. When you pair that juicy filling with the generous topping of fresh green onions and the perfectly crispy crust, it is just amazing.

Pho Luck Eastwood - NSW

Hosea Chan If you love Vietnamese food, Pho Lock in Eastwood is a must-visit! Their pork chop is absolutely unbeatable — the flavour is so unique and delicious that you simply won’t find anything like it anywhere else. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection every time. The pho is rich and comforting, the portions are generous, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Consistent quality and great value — this is easily one of my favourite spots in Eastwood. Highly recommend!

Seocho-dong Eastwood - NSW

Jim Their fried chicken has some innovative flavours. The cheese powder one is pretty good, but the jalapeño mayo flavour is my favourite, perfect amount of spice, creaminess and jalapeño just has a different spicy taste compared to regular peppers. I did feel like the amount of sauce they provided for us (not sure why it was in a bowl and not poured on-top of the chicken), was inadequate. The spicy beef soup and spicy tofu soup was okay, not overly spicy, fair amount of ingredients. Comes with rice for each soup. Rose rice cake (teokbokki) had glass noodles which was unexpectedly good. However I feel like the dish would be better with some bacon or some sort of meat, because $20+ for rice cake is not great. Their kimchi and side dishes tasted a bit funny, not the best. They keep the tables and floor clean.
