5 /5 Cherry C: Great family-friendly restaurant suitable for causal weekday meals and big group gatherings. Has a small playground right at the back which my daughter spent many mealtimes at. Many perks like kids eat free Sundays and Mondays, with different member specials over the work week.

3 /5 Chris: We arrived and were told we could sit anywhere .. a relaxed welcome .. but every table was still covered in dirty plates and cutlery from the previous customers. Not a good start. We ordered the fish and chips, the chicken parmigiana with chips, and a bruschetta. The food was fresh, well cooked, and reasonably priced .. no complaints there. The service though was disappointing. We asked for a small tomato sauce which never came. One staff member walked past .. we asked for help .. and she just grabbed a bottle of water and walked off. Another staff member said she’d bring the sauce, disappeared for 10 minutes, then came back just to ask “did you get your tomato sauce?” .. genuinely baffling. The atmosphere was functional .. it felt like an RSL club .. nothing memorable but adequate. Would we go back? Maybe .. the food and prices were good enough to give them the benefit of the doubt .. but the service needs serious improvement. Final verdict: 3 out of 5 Good food at a fair price .. let down by poor service and messy presentation. Worth a try if you’re not expecting much.

4 /5 Sylwia S.A.M: We visited Rashays in Top Ryde around 4:30 PM and found the service to be relatively quick, with only a couple of other tables occupied at the time. We let the staff know that we’d be sharing dishes, but unfortunately, everything was brought out at once,( no spoons no plates)This meant by the time we worked our way through each plate, the food had become quite cold. That said, the chicken schnitzel was absolutely delicious—crispy and flavorful. The prawn dish in tomato and chili sauce was also very enjoyable, though the sauce was a bit excessive for the amount of seafood served. The pasta had potential but was lacking seasoning. Grilled chicken was tasty and moist. Overall, the experience was okay—some highlights, but also room for improvement, especially in timing and temperature of the dishes .

I’ve tried several mains and desserts, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The menu has a wide variety of options to suit all tastes, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Perfect spot for a casual meal or a night out—highly recommended!
